The men of A-Company came from all walks of life throughout the United States. Many men would be leaving home for the first time upon enlisting, but would soon find themselves as brothers-in-arms in the jungles of the South Pacific. During the war, A-Company hosted men in it’s ranks from 46 of the now 50 states.
