In honor of the last seven known surviving veterans who served with A-Company in combat operations during World War II. Every single man who served with A-Company had a unique and important story to tell of their selfless sacrifice for our country. These men are among the last of “The Greatest Generation” and each served alongside our loved ones in the jungles of the South Pacific. As of January 1, 2022, the following A-Company veterans are thought to still be alive:

SGT Homer L Woody – May 5, 1926 – June 29, 2023 – Texas
PVT Alva W Worthington – November 4, 1922 – May 28, 2022 – North Carolina
